It's legit! There's a new number for text alerts from Mid-Ohio Energy.

As of 5/13/25, the number from which you receive text notifications from Mid-Ohio Energy will be changing from ‘352667’ to 419-673-7289. (You may recognize this as our local Kenton office number!)

This switch aims to make it easier to reach us with any questions and/or avoid number confusion. 

No action is required on your part to prepare for the change. Once you receive the text confirmation from the new number, you may want to save this as a contact in your phone for reference. You will continue to receive all the same alerts for which you’re presently enrolled. 

To enroll, add, or change the phone numbers set up to receive account alerts, visit our online bill pay portal at MidOhioEnergy.com, use the free Mid-Ohio Energy app, or contact our offices.
