KENTON DISTRICT
The Kenton crew working on replacing rejected poles and line maintenance in the North Kenton substation (area north of Kenton).
The Kenton crew is preparing to start a small line rebuild project along S.R. 309.
MARION DISTRICT
The Marion crew is working on replacing rejected poles and line maintenance in the Uncapher substation area (area west of Marion / north of Prospect, east of Larue).
The Marion crew has begun a line rebuild project along Prospect-Upper Sandusky Rd. in the Green Camp area.
TREE TRIMMING
Oberlander's Tree Services trimming crews are contracted to perform right-of-way management for Mid-Ohio Energy. They will be working around the Brownstown substation (areas S of Upper Sandusky, around Marseilles / Kirby). They have completed work around the Ridgedale and Meeker substation areas. In the future, they will move to the area north of Kenton and around Ada throughout this summer.
Osmose Utilities Services has completed current efforts for pole testing, testing 3,094 poles this year. Pole inspections may include drilling and/or digging around the base of poles.
