Mid-Ohio Energy is pleased to announce the promotion of Brandon Anderson to the role of Manager of Operations & Engineering.
Anderson joined the cooperative in 2020 as the Manager of Operations Technology and worked in the role through the summer of 2024, when he was promoted to Engineering Supervisor.
As the head of the Operations department, Anderson is be responsible for directing engineering, construction, and maintenance of Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative's electric distribution system.
Anderson's various roles within the operations department have meant that he's worked outside installing equipment in the field, as well as inside operating software. In many cases, he has been involved in the development of the co-op's systems for communications, metering, mapping, and system automation— including integrating these systems to work in unison, and training fellow cooperative personnel on their use.
His technical expertise and problem-solving skills pair well with his adaptability and team-first attitude, making him a great fit for the role.
"Brandon has a great understanding of the complex systems that work together to keep our distribution system efficient and reliable," says Mid-Ohio Energy President & CEO John Metcalf. "We look forward to having him lead the department to provide safe, reliable power for our members."
