Radio Control Switch System Inspection

The load management program is a valuable tool to help reduce your co-op's overall system load during times of peak usage. From time to time, the cooperative will inspect and/or change out radio-controlled switches. If you have an older style radio-controlled switch (RCS) (like the one shown on the left in picture), a representative will be contacting you to set up a time to inspect or replace the RCS unit. Please be willing to work with our representatives as they will be willing to work with your schedule to accomplish this project.
In Kenton, Denny Hinton will be testing the control switches.
If you currently do not have an RCS on your electric water heater, please consider allowing us to install one. It’s a simple philosophy: the more electric demand your Cooperative can control, the more effectively the Cooperative can hold down your rates. The success of load management is up to each and every one of us. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. See our marketing programs for details about rebates for RCS installations on water heaters, geothermal units, and heat pumps!
RCS Inspection Update:
Denny Hinton is currently checking switches off of the West Newton substation.
