Making Safety a Priority

Whether we are working on the power lines or serving members in our offices, safety is our top priority.  Our staff’s goal is to provide our members with safe, affordable and reliable service. 

We take pride in our commitment to safety.  For that reason, Mid-Ohio Energy is currently working toward earning safety accreditation through the Rural Electric Safety Accreditation Program.  The accreditation will help us continue to improve safety procedures and keep members informed regarding safe usage of their electric.

It is necessary to use precautions when dealing with electricity around your home.  Power lines, outlets, and electric devices can cause hazards without proper care and attention.  Feel free to use this site as a valuable resource for safety information.  Included are links to informative safety-related sites and other documents.

Mid-Ohio Energy offers a live line safety demonstration to area groups. Presentations can be targeted to a variety of ages or organizations.
